Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist After emigrating to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her career began as an actor for children. In AT&T commercials she played the role of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 to 2016 and then in until 2020. Commercial appearances weren't her only activity she did. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub has also been the voice of Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after being cast in the television pilot that has not yet aired New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish and was born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism as young as just two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. Her family's financial difficulties led to her acting in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she dropped out and got an GED. She continued however to earn a Bachelor of Arts Communication from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
